Lindsay is passionate about serving and connecting with people through the service of counseling. She began her professional career 15 years ago as a practical nurse serving families with pediatric clients. Her love for serving children, parents, and families grew into the counseling field where she has spent most of her professional career delivering mental health and substance use counseling services across the lifespan on an outpatient basis. She has significant experience and training in treating the generational passage of trauma, direct and indirect trauma happening within children and their families. Her unique experience with children and adult work has shaped Lindsay’s belief that we do not exist alone, but rather, we exist within connection to one another. Her therapeutic work encompasses the whole individual and their connecting systems. Lindsay brings a creative approach in her delivery of evidenced based clinical work. She is trained in parent child interaction therapy (PCIT), eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR), sand tray therapy, Circle of Security- Parenting (COS-P), Child parent psychotherapy (CPP), and multidimensional family therapy (MDFT), trauma focused- cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Lindsay is also certified to deliver substance use counseling services and has experience in doing so over the last 7 years.
