Tim has over 24 years of coaching and playing Division I college soccer in such conferences as the SEC, Pac 12, Big 12, and the Big East.
In addition, he has won multiple youth national championships at the highest youth levels as a Development Academy Director and ECNL staff coach.
It was through the combination of these unique experiences, he saw how players were coming into college athletics completely unprepared to be successful on and off the field.
They possessed all the necessary technical, tactical, and physical gifts but lacked mental toughness, mental resiliency, and mental confidence.
This was due to the fact that few youth know how to develop or improve their mental game and toughness.
It is often assumed that the competitive level or the game will teach this naturally; or that players are just born tough.
The mental skills (toughness, resiliency, confidence, etc.) can be developed, just like any other part of a player’s game. It is often not something that players are just born with. And this is what Tim is passionate about, helping players and teams overcome mental obstacles so that they can achieve their goals on and off the field.
The NCAA recruiting process is often confusing, overwhelming, and stressful to not only the prospective student-athlete but the family. Because of Tim’s experiences on all sides of the process, as a student-athlete, college coach, high level youth coach, and as a parent, he has created a process that empowers prospective student-athletes and their parents to realize their dreams of a productive, enjoyable, and memorable collegiate student-athlete experience
